Since you cannot operate without food or water, that is why it is good to desire them. What benefit does lust bring? It should lead to procreation and production of offspring. In the case the person has no need to seek it, there is nothing to gain from it. \r\n\r\nThose who go about getting rid of lust by chocking it, end up being broken. The ideal solution is to somehow get rid of the feeling, without going through the *clockwork orange* methodology, the *Ludovico method*.  Basically by not having the desire within, cutting off the balls (metaphorically speaking), the person is able to focus on other things. Not everyone needs to be concerned with procreation.
