Once upon the time there was a group of molecules that was oppressed. And there was another group of molecules next to this one that was also oppressed. Both of them had long established traditions of staying in the group and behaving a certain way. But the oppressed molecules decided to riot. Those on the edge with the other group started mixing together and creating interesting patterns never before seen. Molecules on the far end were confused about all of the movement. Suddenly one or two molecules from the other group traveled to those far regions and were not very welcome by the molecules there. But the mixing continued and patterns became more and more complex, until one time the entire thing was mixed as well as it could be and all molecules were equally spread around.
George Orwell's book Animal Farm starts with a premise that "All Animals Are Equal" just to destroy this premise by the end when pigs rewrote the message to be "All Animals Are Equal, But Some More Equal Than Others". Turning a premise of freedom into a form of unjust power. This was a criticism on Soviet Union's governmental structure at the time the book was written. The thing we today refer to as communism. A structure of intense oppression by the government in an attempt to make everybody equal. But that suffers from a paradox. The government itself is not equal to the rest of the population. Therefor there is no actual equality.

Entropy is Freedom
Entropy is a concept in physics describing the spread of energy. Because of Entropy things like perpetual motion machines are impossible in reality since some of it's energy will spread out over time decreasing it's ability to move. Therefor stopping at some point.
But from the other point of view Entropy is an idea of a kind of chaotic freedom. Of equality of the system that is created not by oppression, but by letting the molecules do whatever they want to do. Imagine a cup of black coffee and another cup of milk. One is black, one is white. But when you poor the milk into the coffee and let it sit there alone. The whole thing will become one color, somewhere in between the two. But it will get there alone. The only help you can give it is stirring. As in adding more chaos to the system. Not adding more strictness. If you will try to keep the system strict. For example by putting a barrier, or by freezing everything, you will prevent it from mixing and therefor prevent it from becoming equalized.
Freedom is Equal
Freedom ( as I define it ) is control over one self and thing belonging to one self. If there was one person in the world, it would very simple. Freedom would be an ability to do whatever you want. But as long as there is another person, freedoms are spread and equal between the two.
When it crosses the line of freedom it's called Power or Oppression. If you control other people or things belonging to other people, it's Power - Oppression. And it makes you unequal. Therefor for freedom to truly exist the system should be mono-tonally mixed into total equality.
But sometimes this goal of mono-tonery is being used by people either intentionally or unintentionally to grow their power, therefor making the whole thing loose it's core principle. This is sometimes called communism. When the government is forcing people to be equal, while in the same time cannot force itself to be equal, because then it will loose the ability to force others.
The Second Law Of Thermodynamics
In an isolated system Entropy always increases. It goes from total order through total chaos into equality. Always. And it looks like people can be thought of as molecules in such a system.
Entropy is observable in international politics. From extreme separation between countries and war to a state today reminding the chaos of mixing milk into coffee. From extreme prejudices to something we can't understand yet. The mixing of races and sexes and everything everywhere all at once.
There are attempts to speed up the mixing by not stirring, but by restricting. By restricting speech the "woke" way. And by calling everybody that resists "white supremacists" and it's rightly being looked upon as expressions of power similar to those of communism.
If we really want equality and freedom to everyone, we don't need to make the system stricter. On the contrary we need to take a big spoon and stir it. Make it so everybody can speak their minds. And make so everybody else can hear those minds. Ideals will clash! Chaos will happen! But through chaos, through entropy, we get to true Freedom.

I decided to give myself somewhat of a
Ryan Gosling marathon, after re-watching
Drive the other day. I gave myself a challenge though. I didn't want to watch the stuff I already like. I didn't want "Only God Forgives" ( which I will review soon ). I didn't want "Blade Runner 2049". I wanted something else. Something that I personally would not select normally. And therefor I put
Crazy, Stupid, Love.
