Moria's Race

March 2020: Assets

Leon The Professional

Which bring me to the third musician. And it is Eric Serra. At first it seems like the music in the movie is kind of strange. And it is. It is not your typical Hollywood score with orchestra and stuff. Eric Serra is a bit more creative than that. Though what he did was interesting. He merged the style of composing of Bjork and the style of Sting and made the score of the movie in such a way that both "Venus as a Boy" and "Shape Of My Heart" sound completely natural within the broad sonic landscape of the movie. And it is very interesting because those are very different songs on their own. Bjork, for example is an experimental artist. She goes fucking crazy. If you listen the stuff that she produces now, you will start hearing her creative insanity even in the early stuff like "Venus as a Boy". How the hell did Eric Serra merged it with Sting? I guess he is just genius. To be frank, Leon's score is not my favorite music from Serra. I think it would either be the opera piece he wrote for the Fifth Element ( also directed by Besson and the song performed by his wife Maïwenn ), or the soundtrack of Le Grand Bleu, a Besson movie about dolphins and people who like to swim a lot, also starring Jean Reno, and by chance starring Jean-Marc Barr who played in a Lars Von Trier movie starring Bjork herself. For which she received an acting award at Cannes from Besson. What a circle of madness!

Breaking The Waves

The only think I want to add to this review is the presence of Jean-Marc Barr in the film. Because Jean-Marc Barr fucking rocks.

Sheiny The Hacker

herself. But now, that the barricade of ideas was broken, she could speak to Chloe a little bit more clearly. One downside of this situation Sheiny realized but didn't feel much through was that Mr. Hambleton was revealed to Chloe now too. Mr. Hambleton was afraid at first, but he realized that Chloe is quite a bright girl herself. And that he is not under any threat from her. "Relax, Hamb... I'm not police." were the Chloe's words that calmed Mr. Hambleton a little. But there was a bit of calming down yet to be had by him after school to realize that he is not going to jail quite yet.

Software Trustworthyness Scale

In the last week or so I started feeling a loss of interest to do anything what so ever. But since I do the live-streams, the main progress on the movie still marches forward with a steady pace.

Paying With Freedom

Moria's Race project is confidently marching forward with a steady pace. Didn't cripple the project even the larger amount of highly technical shots that I decided to make for it. Something that would most definitely cripple a production of something like I'm Not Even Human.

Forcing Cashless

If there is a barrier of how good you can live when you work such illegal jobs, you far less likely going to work such illegal jobs. Which means you will more likely to double-check everything related to your taxes. Therefor pay the taxes more efficiently.

Entropy Is Freedom And It Increases

But from the other point of view Entropy is an idea of a kind of chaotic freedom. Of equality of the system that is created not by oppression, but by letting the molecules do whatever they want to do. Imagine a cup of black coffee and another cup of milk. One is black, one is white. But when you poor the milk into the coffee and let it sit there alone. The whole thing will become one color, somewhere in between the two. But it will get there alone. The only help you can give it is stirring. As in adding more chaos to the system. Not adding more strictness. If you will try to keep the system strict. For example by putting a barrier, or by freezing everything, you will prevent it from mixing and therefor prevent it from becoming equalized.
