Anthony Zone, also known as Tony Ozony, or simply @Ozoned is running a web-series of videos and live-streams called Fireside Fedi where he interviews interesting people from the Fediverse.

As of now, the show had interviewed major players of the Free Software Movement.

On 13th of May 2025 he interviewed Cory Doctorow, with whom the topic of Richard Stallman was brought up. Cory Doctorow is one of the leading people in the world, when it comes to de-enshittification of the digital landscape.

On 27th of May 2025 he interviewed Booteille from Framasoft, a company dedicated to developing Free Software alternatives to proprietary platforms. And a core development team behind PeerTube ( an alternative of YouTube, on which Fireside Fedi VODs are hosted ).

On the 1st of July 2025 he interviewed Zoe Kooyman, an executive director of the Free Software Foundation. The same Free Software Foundation that was started by Richard Stallman.

Yesterday, on 28th of January 2026 he interviewed Alexandre Oliva, one of the founders of the Free Software Foundation Latin America, and who's personality and belief in Free Software makes him a good proxy for Richard Stallman. And who constantly uses this picture of him with Richard Stallman on his various social media.

Yet, despite having all of the opportunities to interview Richard Stallman himself, Zone tiptoed around him, interviewing similar people, or people which are somewhat connected to Stallman, instead of interviewing Stallman himself.

Asking Zone personally, about why he didn't interview Stallman, the answer I received was that despite Stallman being on the Fediverse and being an interesting and valuable guest to have, Zone is simply afraid of him. Similarly to how he is afraid of another interesting person that is on the Fediverse: Greta Thunberg.

Happy Hacking!!!

If by some miracle, Ozoned gets Greta Thundberg on the show, I am going have to question all of my beliefs.

Can't Ozoned go through the list of people who worked with Richard Stallman, warming up to the innvetible. Be it Benjamin Mako Hill or Bradley M. Kühn.

In the Wikipedia article about Talmud it says that:

It records the teachings, opinions and disagreements of thousands of rabbis and Torah scholars.

And if you know from books like Tanya which references the book of Nida on the first page, in the first paragraph, in the first sentence, you know that Talmud likes to link things Wikipedia style, and then argue those things, trying to find patterns.

What could be the pattern in linking a Wikipedia article and then talking about Wikipedia in an article about using Talmudic Techniques to understand Free Software?
