Free Software fundamentally misses the point. It fails on a practical, ideological, economic, and political level. Let’s examine precisely how (in a slightly different order for the purposes of presentation).

Directors can be either refer to name or the quality they exhibit the most, for Michael Bay those are the explosions, for M. Night Shyamalan are the unexpected twists and for J. J. Abrams are the lens flares. Actually, they were lens flares. ↩ Reply

To the people complaining, the concerns are understood. There was especially a gross breach of them during a big and important speech. People complained, so he stopped with them. Even for such an impediment, the film wins out to the viewers (as can be seen from the 2.5 times box office return). That has to do with the flow of the film. In retrospect, they did not matter that much. ↩ Reply

What was of real interest was the fact the film's plot moves from one point to another, leaving the viewers guessing what is about to happen. The glue between the scenes was the superb sense of flow J. J. Abrams has. I struggle to mentally recount all the ways he managed to seamlessly interconnect the shots. Even on the macro scale, by focusing on having the story be fleshed out before the getting on with the filming, made the job of making each scene flow from to another seamlessly easier. ↩ Reply

The film exists in the same universe as the previous installment of Star Trek by J. J. Abrams, which prior knowledge is not a requirement to enjoy the sequel. This is more of a Transformers territory, where the whole franchise has series extending set-ups and pay-offs. With 2 films, there was not much of a pay-off that could've been done. With what was set up, the resolution was had, providing an excellent experience those who saw the first film and followed the Star Trek franchise as a whole . ↩ Reply

In sense, J. J. Abrams is less of a lens flare or blockbuster science fiction director and more so a person giving new life to already established franchises, be it Mission: Impossible, Star Wars, or Star Trek. Just don't have him finish the films, he doesn't really know how to do that. ↩ Reply

I leave you with a farewell. ↩ Reply
Space, the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the J. J. Abrams
Its 20 year mission
To explore strange new worlds
To seek out new films
And new installments
To boldly go where no man has gone before.

Sex and love are hard to miss on present block-busters. Even topics such as love between a child and an adult are discussed. In early 1970s and before it was hard to find films delving into such topics. A nostalgia film of that. The movie may start out light-hearted, it went deep so to make the illustrious Kubrick cry.

Suppose you live in a war torn country, where there are military stops in every major road. The economy is in shambles and there's a smell of gunpowder in the air. The people go to watch low budget produced films and are most valued in the global market for the cheap labor.
