Free Software fundamentally misses the point. It fails on a practical, ideological, economic, and political level. Let’s examine precisely how (in a slightly different order for the purposes of presentation).

6 Minute Read

Christmas is all about spreading joy and happiness to all. Sometimes the festivities pierce your heart, other times you feel as about die from loneliness. The 3 movies reviewed here feature a wide spectrum of emotions. At the end, all end on a happy note.

his other short film Mr. Night Has a Day Off, which you can watch here.

Good visual effects work. Yet funny how Mr. Night is just a humanoid cartoon with a texture of the stars.

The senior and the girl story I am working with @trueauracoral .

You are still writing that shared document?

The work is a well made propaganda piece for saving polar bears and respecting nature. It was made with association of National Bears International and National Parks Conservation Association. In that regard, the movie can be grouped together with Avatar and Interstellar.

I thought, when it opened, that is the Tony Scott produced, David Scott directed 2012 short about polar bears.

Also, to work like Avatar or Interstellar you need the get the numbers of these movies. There are undeniably better propaganda pieces. But those, more serious films, usually nobody sees. To get a real impact is to get a huge crowd to engage with the idea.

It's already written, we're story-boarding

I am aware. Not too long ago I listened to the author of Lithuanian best-seller "Pietinia Kronikas" by Rimantas Kmita, which was, surprisingly, his first novel. He is fascinated by Billie Eilish and her ability to make popular music with appeal, that has quality and substance in it. The author emphasized the need to make art read by others. When you are part of the writer's group and share your work, it is easy to get into the deep-end and create very artsy, but not popular works.

[icon reviews]Gladiator 2000 is Ridley Scott's turn at mimicking Michael Bay

There are quite some differences between the Scott brothers ( Ridley and Tony ) and the Maximus himself Michael Bay. You can read Troler's observations and then my rant in the comments to see why they aren't quite the same. But specifically Tony Scott films sometimes feels almost like Michael Bay movies. Especially early Tony Scott and early Michael Bay, before both of them knew how similar they are and before they started trying to develop each other into opposite directions. Which happened roughly in time with the 21st century. And yet with all this the Ridley Scott epic Gladiator which was shot at 20st century and released at 21st, bluntly steals one of the shots Michael Bay is known for.

When I reviewed Havoc I wrote about this strange feeling that I dubbed "short orgasmic blackout" when I see a stupidly serious, angry face of a female character that is really cute. And one of the most cutest actors living these days is fucking Ana de Armas. Let me illustrate. We see young Victoria Comte playing Eve ( the main character ) while being 11 ( Comte was born in 2013, do the math ), and then the film says "12 years later" so now she is 23. Yet de Armas playing her is 36 ( at the time of filming ). She plays somebody almost half her age and it works. Why? She is fucking cute! That's why. And because of that I knew I was probably getting the "short orgasmic blackout" the movie.

[icon reviews]Mission: Impossible 2 ( 2000 ) is the best Mission: Impossible

A lot of people are big fans of the Christopher McQuarrie movies in the Mission: Impossible series. A lot of more sophisticated movie goers prefer the more serious first picture directed by Brian De Palma. Some are the fans of the Brad Bird and J. J. Abrams installments. But almost everybody unanimously loves to hate on the John Woo second film Mission: Impossible 2. I frankly, don't get it.
