Blender DumbassIn 2011, French writer and director MaΓ―wenn Le Besco went to the police station in Paris in order to try to get some information about how the police works. The research she ended up gathering, ended up portrayed in her 2011 film Polisse about which I already wrote a review. But one thing about this movie suck with me. And if the intention of the film was to shine light on the police-work, this means that to some extend that thing that stuck with me shows a certain, very depressing truth about the world that I don't know how to process quite yet.

Blender DumbassChild Abuse in on my mind right now. I have written a screenplay for a feature film that I'm already in early talks to produce. The bad guy in the movie is a child-rapist / child-killer. His presence alone justifies the anger of the heroes and creates the tension in the film. Yet I don't think I can make a movie that is a shlocky exploitation film. The subject matter is a bit too strong for something that careless.

Blender DumbassElon Musk is now infamous for showing a Nazi-Salute when Donald Trump became the president for the second time. Yet, this is the same Elon Musk, who's cars were disliked by the same people who have a hard on Trump. People who like to burn gasoline. For them an electric-car company is an epitome of wokeness. It was very funny to see, then, Donald Trump making an ad-read to promote those cars, before realizing what he had done and deciding suddenly to hate on poor Musk. Was Musk playing a part of a Nazi? Was the Nazi-Salute a genius marketing move, to try to make the conservative public of the United States consider buying a car they so disliked? Or was it just a funny set of coincidences?

Blender DumbassThe main issue with freeing the kids, is that kids cannot vote. This is not un-doable. With slaves, slaves could not vote. But there were enough non-slaves that agreed that slaves should be freed. So it passed through. With women rights until some point in time women couldn't vote too. But there were enough men, who agreed with women. And now women can vote. Something like this has to happen with children's rights too.
