Blender DumbassBTFree stands for Big Tech Free. Talking to @Ozoned we came up with a few ideas that might be interesting to pursue. For example the B could be drawn as a Bee. A nasty, kind of, insect character. Then if you add to it an English Top Hat and a cup of T. Well you get yourself an Oligarch. A nasty Oligarch. Representing the Big Tech ( BT ). But how do you want to get Free from it?

Blender DumbassIt is quite funny to me that we live in the world full with people that contradict themselves whenever possible. Politically Conservative people tend to always bring up "Free Speech" whenever Liberal-minded people disagree with their opinions. Yet they are also very much in the business of censorship themselves. We saw that with Florida's Book Bans and we now see it again with Pepper & Carrot. A comics from David Revoy that was attacked recently by those unable to see people expressing love to one another.
Meta Argues: Art is so Easy it is Uncopyrightable

Blender DumbassMeta ( allegedly ) tried to hire 3D artists to justify in court that 3D art is apparently so easy and quick to make, that it is uncopyrightable, so they could not ask for permission from 3D artists for training their AI.

I'm scared that in not so distant of a future, even a video of typing an article will not be a sufficient proof. So lets talk about it... Shall we?

Blender DumbassThere is a war between artists and Artificial Intelligence people. AI is primarily useful today to those people who want to avoid the hassle of doing something impressive, while still maintaining an image of impressiveness. Artists, on the other hand, who's whole being is in grinding themselves into true impressiveness are not satisfied with AI being used to replace their labor with cheap, algorithmic knock-offs. One such machine learning algorithm, though, had found its way into millions of artist's work-flows, which they don't seem to care much about. And I'm talking about the Intel's Open Image Denoise found inside of Blender.
