Contrary to contents of the game, it is licensed under a Creative Commons license and proudly proclaims to be a work of human labor. Reading it felt like a thrill ride, where there's a desire to throw up and keep going. That's really due to the creators working on to make the story as vivacious as possible, as per the co-writer's admission: c:2 ↩ Reply

The reader follows the tale of 3 totally mentally messed up girls, who're perceived by society as angels. There is the youngest 8 year old book-worm, whose intellect is matched by her kindness — Han‑byeol. Her cousin is a studious high schooler named Ga‑yeong. For all the pleasantness in this description of the characters, the real core of the their true self is far grimmer. As can be seen from the monochrome backgrounds and the destructed character pallet. The game presents itself most thoroughly as a depressive experience and is quite explicit in that regard not only in the visuals, but in jagged and uneven music as well. ↩ Reply

I can say, that the dissonant notes and compression cracks add to the charm of the game. The novice musicians were unable to fully communicate the tone of the scene through the notes, making the listening to the track not that pleasant experience. Rightfully so, they were stressed out. ↩ Reply
When it comes the main bread and butter of the game, the story, it is told through first person of all the three main characters. Getting into the head of maniacs is one of the most surefire ways to corrupt the audience, hell that was done in The Wolf of Wall street, Taxi Driver and Lolita, which is read by the angel Han‑byeol. The adults did not approve of such literature for a growing Catholic girl. ↩ Reply
By juxtaposing the world's treatment of the characters and perception themselves, the focus on the decrepit mental state is further highlighted. The other is represented by the Christian faith, which operates as the orthodox judge, not allowing any digression from the established roles. Han‑byeol's kink is the obsession of a factory where humans are made. Taking the extreme of tales told of how babies are born, she devoutly believes that humans are either born through conception or made from other parts of humans. To make this clearer, think of replicants from Blade Runner, engineered human slaves. Han-byeol is so utterly convinced of this factory's existence, the fact she was made in it from the worst criminal scum, that the idea it was God who told her all this, is taken as fact. She does not second-guess her God given duty to destroy the factory once she grows up. ↩ Reply

The audience does not hear about the factory until the middle-ish of the story. They're instead acclimated to the idea, by showing what kind of predicament the little girl is in. Once empathy is established, then and only then is her eccentricity put on the table. ↩ Reply
But damn, she's such a likable character. There's something so endearing seeing a loli character be so devoutly zealous. To a point where the reader begins to second guess whether the existence of the factory is a fiction or an hidden agenda, by the treacherous adults. For a moment I was on board on the whole factory ordeal. Of course, the grown-ups do not want to talk about it, if they did, they'd become the meat that creates these replicant humans. ↩ Reply
Her delusion spawns from the pressure to be the perfect little girl. The unnatural expectation is what causes the conventional advice of praying, spiral into a mania. Were she not to act on her will, there's a likelyhood our angel would become crippled and ultra-paranoid like Beau. ↩ Reply
By playing the game, I was on board with the ideas of destroying the factory. "Hell yeah, those factories should burn", I thought to myself. Yet, there is a stop from adults. Children cannot do X, they must be Y. The society-given expectation of what a child can or cannot do is the main constraint for her. For her to act, she must be one of the adults. The best means of getting there is by growing it. As she waits, more and more of obsessions arise. ↩ Reply

The older of the bunch, Ga‑yeong, is putting up a parade of being this amazing student, while in reality she is deeply ill. Her life is sunk into a depression, although not as bad as her older aunt's Jenny's. For everything she eats is forcefully ejected from her body, as per the curse of bulimia. That's the least of the problems, the main one is how to make out with her cousin Jenny, so that her boyfriend would not find out, and deprive the angel Han‑byeol of her youthful innocence. ↩ Reply

Being a sadistic gothic little woman, she sets out make Jenny's life miserable, by forcefully molesting her, forcing her to shame herself. This bullying is justified full force, since there is no desire to be a fully functional member society. The rot must come out, to the full display. Whoever is pristine, must be tainted by rot. By following along with Ga‑yeong's escapades, there's already a strong corruption of the audience, whereby they're convinced to be okay not only with pedophiliac homosexuality, but abusive polyamorous incest as well. A character so hung by how miserable life is one who would not hesitate to throw morality into the ditch, just to feel a warm tingle within the heart. For her it's okay to ruin others, even if it is a younger relative. Better do it yourself, before someone even nastier comes in. However be strong the desire to corrupt and rot those around her, there is a voice lamenting of loss of such pure humans. With the fight between teenage desire to let the world burn and the belief in second chances, the character grows to be more complex. ↩ Reply

A jobless, socially reclusive, ill-educative NEET is not something respected by the highly collective-conscious Korean society. When in-doors her only real interest is to make money streaming video games, without any other reason other than to be able to drink strawberry soju. Even that is not enough to feel anything besides depression. She needs to see gore, to beat herself and be beaten up by others, although more passively than in Fight Club. ↩ Reply

Jenny's degradation is shown non-linearly. First from snippets of what others had to say about her past and later on as an actual backstory. Seeing a decent student be pushed by stress to alcoholic depravity is invigorating. I speak from someone who finds that stuff disgusting and utterly useless. ↩ Reply
The somewhat disconnected plots all converge by the angel's another obsession — impact kink. The consuming thought of her being a wicked product of the factory, whereby self flagellation is one way to repent for God. ↩ Reply
This self-evicted pain, as is also done by Jennie, eventually wears off. The impurity within her, from all the criminal bodies, must be suppressed, or else the rot will leak out of the body. ↩ Reply
There is a desire to share this pain with others, so they may as well be redeemed by the grace of Lord. Such follows that the only friend of our angel, Eun-mi, is dragged into this maddening spiral of flagellation. ↩ Reply
I am not quite sure how, but seeing 11 year old girls hit each other with a branch felt... nice? No, that's not the exact feeling. More so, right in the most messed up way. I cannot admit of enjoying that so explicitly, lest I'd be some creep who rivets in consensual abuse. Yet, at the moment, I felt like it was actually quite a wholesome experience, even if for the totally wrong reasons. ↩ Reply
By this point, the viewer has been tempted for long by viewing all of the seemingly perfect characters break down. Their outlandish justification for their actions are accepted as second nature. There is nothing pristine left of them, just shameless perverts. Biggest of them all, Han‑byeol, who has fun with her friend a bit too much... ↩ Reply

manslaughtered. The spilling blood is such a shock, that once it subsides, there is laughter, pleasure in the act. The reader has been acclimatized by so many messed up things, that pedicide is brushed off. 'Twas only an accident, 'twas a sacrifice to the almighty God, 'twas a good step for the little Han‑byeol to further fall into depravity. ↩ Reply

Ga‑yeong reaction to manslaughter is that of utter joy. Her little angel had succumbed to urges, came closer to be like her. Yet I still feel conflicted. The manslaughter is gruesome, not something to be enjoyed, but I wanted to be on Ga‑yeong's side and rejoice with her. After all, this climax exploded the tension brewing through-out the entire story. There was a promise of something big was going to unfold and it did. Not in a way I would've expected, but the promise was fulfilled. ↩ Reply
I must acknowledge, the corruption of the audience here really feels like it is towing the towards Lars von Trier territory, from how all actions have reactions and the way depression is ever present throughout the entire fable. Gore is not glorified for the sake of grossing out the audience, 'tis important for the development of the characters. ↩ Reply
Hither and thither, I wouldn't say the work would corrupt those who are not used to the toxic romance conventions as well. This is in part due to the abrupt and constant description of horrific things. That said, the worst thing that does happen is the murder at the end of the story. ↩ Reply
Emotionally it works as a climax and totally justifies all the girls delusional thoughts. It does so only when the person is actually engrossed within the story. This is done by telling the reader about Ga‑yeong's bodily issues, before diving deeper into other hellish thoughts. ↩ Reply
Her filthy rot behind the sheet of a smile is what captivated me. I adore Lars von Trier, Nicolas Winding Refn and Martin Scorsese for their ability to cut into the filth of society and pick out the most messed up individuals. They happened to all, coincidentally, tell their stories from the first perspective. This game is inline with the first person psychopath strategy of corrupting the audience. ↩ Reply
