Richard Stallman


The game has a GNU mascot which is just a gnu flying on a carpet. But I think they were going for the famous Richard Stallman look with it. Where he used to put a funny shirt and pretend to be a wizard. I was inspired by it. To be honest since then RMS got cancer. And he doesn't look like a wizard anymore. Moria's Race Addons


For the promotion of the movie Moria's Race I made several addons for SuperTuxKart. And I think that they were somewhat successful. They consist of various characters and areas from the film, converted to the format of the game. Some changes also include resizing normal sized cars from the film, into caricatured versions that look consistent with the rest of the game. ↩ Reply

So Jake had to continue - "You know the Facebook app and the Google app on your phone is constantly recording what we have to say to each other, forming an opinions on us. They claim it's for advertising. But they can use it for anything they want. You know?". Tom looked at Jake with a slight smile. He knew he had a very good comeback. After a short pause Tom said - "I use a dumb phone." - and went into the party. But Jake didn't stop feeling bad. Jake didn't use no phone at all.

On the surface, the 2008 movie Taken directed by Pierre Morel and written by Luc Besson ( he was busy directing Arthur cartoons ) is about how it is dangerous for little girls to be in the world. And about how awful the human trafficking is. And about how good, people who fuck up human traffickers are. But then, out of nowhere, it makes people cheer when a guy is buying an underage girl at a human trafficking auction. As if, it makes you think: Is Luc Besson just trying to show Quentin Tarantino that he is a master of corrupting the audience?

I decided to re-watch the first Transformers film today, but differently. Instead of indulging in it as mindless entertainment, I decided I want to actually view it seriously, as I would with somebody like Steven Spielberg, who, by the way, was an executive producer on the film.
