In
Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning the mission is so impossible that there is a possibility that either
Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt, the entire world, or both will die. Not to mention that Tom Cruise himself can die. Because in this one he climbs from one plane to another mid flight.

Directed by
Richard Donner (
Superman,
The Goonies ) from a script of
Shane Black,
Lethal Weapon is a film about cops. On the surface there is no concept to the movie what so ever. It is just simply a regular, straight forward police bromance. Yet somehow the movie moves.

It is strange to review a music video, but
Buzzy Lee's masterpiece
Strange Town deserves some praise. I think Buzzy Lee, who co-directed the music video with
Jeff Leeds Cohn knew that they didn't know what they were doing. So the whole thing, spoiler alert, is poking fun at their own directing.

Coming into a film called
Queer I didn't except the movie to go where it went. It was not a romance drama film, which it was marketed as. It only started like one. If you like Guadagnino's
Call Me By Your Name and except the same movie here. Don't. This is a completely different movie.

Similarly to
Michael Mann's
Miami Vice Bad Boys II is about love, man... It is about how both
Will Smith and
Martin Lawrence love
Gabrielle Union. And how they are willing to do international terrorism and kill many many people, to save her. True love bro!

I was frankly scared to re-experience the original James Cameron picture
Avatar after knowing for certain that it is much worse, technically speaking, in comparison to the second film in the franchise. Yet I was confident that the film at the very least should be good. So I took my worries aside and watched it again. Does it hold up? Well let's talk about it.

Natalie Portman is an interesting figure in the world of cinema. And the movie
May December is a meta-analysis of Natalie's psychological journey through Hollywood. It is not a surprise that her first movie Leon: The Professional caused some levels of controversy. It was mainly an action film, so there was not that much controversy. But the dramatic elements of the film were questioned a lot by American audiences. Even Natalie Portman herself, being half-American
described Leon as "cringe". And it seems like the growing obsession with all kind of sexual misconducts in Hollywood together with growing feelings of cringe from Leon made her into needing a movie like
May December to evaluate everything and understand the phenomenon better.
